quiet surrounding easy access local produce
The location provided very quiet surroundings. the walks to the tor were easily accessible from the hotel. I enjoyed this proximity. the shop offered local produce. I found this beneficial.

The breakfast cafe onsite was very convenient. It also had nice views. The pool was enjoyable and very close. The spa was nice too.
The lighting in the shower was cold, white led lights. The toilet roll holder fell apart easily. That was not very practical.

dusty surfaces stained bedding
The location was alright for seeing the sights nearby.
The cottage felt generally unclean. Cobwebs were in several corners and dust collected on surfaces, especially in the bathroom. I found some stains on the bedding. They looked like old coffee marks.

professional women comfortable beds lovely views lovely lunch
The staff were so kind and were really good, particularly with my daughter's dietary needs. They made us a lovely lunch. the treatments take place in shepherd's huts. These are lovely and the women were very professional. the cottage was perfect, so clean and so well equipped with comfy beds, and the views were lovely. i will definitely book another spa date later in the year.

the staff members were very understanding when my friend had to cancel her spa appointment. they demonstrated great kindness and flexibility. the team was attentive and accommodating throughout our stay, so i was grateful.

A Wonderful Spa Treat
clean cabin comfortable room beautiful facial heavenly pedicure
I enjoyed my stay . The Cabin was very super clean and cozy, assuring a blissful night's sleep. Phoebe did my Tailored Facial beautifully. The Pedicure was absolute heaven with Phoebe.
The farm shop is useful, but items are a little pricey.

the location was near the tor. this allowed for pleasant walks. the hotel included a farm shop, it offered convenient access to provisions. i found the staff to be attentive.
the cleaning standard was not great. i noticed a lingering smell in kitchen cupboards. i found some dishes returned dirty. one shower lacked heating and had poor ventilation..

i found the cottage comfortable. the restaurant served delicious breakfast using fresh, local ingredients. i also enjoyed the spa massages and felt relaxed after the treatment. the therapists were professional and attentive (i particularly enjoyed the hot stone massage).
i noticed a few clothes moths in the cottage, but it did not impact my stay significantly.
